Conclusion:

Baptism of the Holy Spirit is receiving the POWER of the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8: 8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

The Power of the Holy Spirit came upon people who were unaware of when he would come. In Acts 2 the apostles never knew when the Power of the Holy Spirit would come. Jesus did not command Holy Spirit baptism. This command is absent from the bible. Jesus commanded water baptism. During immersion (in water) we are made sons of God (Gal. 3:26-27) and are given the Holy Spirit (Gal 4:6-7).

In Nestle-Aland 26th Ed. of the Greek NT 1 John 5:8 states the Spirit, the water and the blood these "three into the one are."

Nowhere in the bible does it command: "Ask the Lord into our hearts" or anything approaching such wording. The bible says in Acts 2:38: And Peter said to them, "Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 "For the promise is for you and your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God shall call to Himself." There is no instance of infant baptism in the NT.

We must Hear the Word, Believe it, repent of our sins, confess that Jesus is Lord-The Son of God, and be baptized for the remission of our sins, then we are sons of God!
